WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

World environment day celebrated at LFPS to sensitise the students about the degrading environmental conditions and to encourage them to take positive environmental actions . LFPS Kalavoor celebrated world environment day on 5th Jun . Mr. ………………….  the karshaka shree award winner was the chief guest of the day. He addressed the students in the morning assembly and planted the saplings in the school premises.

READING  DAY

LFPS observed Reading Day on 19th  June in memory of the late Shree P.N. Panikkar, the father of the library movement in Kerala. To promote and instill a passion for reading amongst the student community, various activities were conducted for students I – X. Mr. Deepu Kattoor ,writer and the short film director inaugurated the reading day celebrations. Students from classes I – VIII dressed up as characters from famous stories entertained the students in the morning assembly

SALUTING THE NATION ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

Little Flower Public School, Kalavoor celebrated our country’s 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic favour on 15th August,2023 in the school premises. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by our students through a spectrum of events. The chief guest Col. ……………………… hoisted the flag at 9.00 o’clock am. School Manager Col. Antony C.J. reminded the students to safeguard the sovereignty of our nation. As a symbol of peace and unity a dove was flown by the principal, Mrs. Bindu Shee Ansalam.

ONAM

Little Flower Public School, Kalavoor celebrated Onam on the school premises with much gaiety and enthusiasm. The celebration started on 25th August with the laying of an attractive floral carpet in front of the school. A student clad in customary attire as ‘Maveli’ visited the classes with the accompaniment of school band team. It was followed by the competitions of ‘Vanchippattu’ and ‘Onappattu’ by the students from different groups. The Mega thiruvathira performed by the students highlighted the culture and tradition of kerala.

The Ona Sadya, prepared by the students ushered in the festive spirit of onam. Payasam , Sponsored bt the P.T.A. was distributed to the entire school. The tug of war between the members of different groups triggered the sporting and competitive instincts of the spectators, who cheered and encouraged the participants with zeal and gusto.
